The main point of it is to make sure people are using their pumps to get maximum results. If you asked 100 people to say stop after 3 minutes they’d all say a different time, meaning people are either under or over using the pump.

The green lights indicate the 3 minutes you should be in the pump and red lights indicate the time out of the pump. This can then be repeated 3 times for the manufacturers recommendation of how to use the pump.
